Kuantic has become the first SME to join the Vedecom institute and become part of one of the leading groupings of energy supplies in the connected automobile field. Vedecom, the ” institut du véhicule décarboné et communicant et de sa mobilité”, has the mission of helping the whole eco-system to create high performing innovation in the area of mobility. This particularly involves the fields of autonomous and connected vehicles and mobility infrastructures and services. Its different research areas ensure technological oversight over the communicative and autonomous vehicle, and develop numerous applications.
As member of the “connectivity” area of the institute that it joined at the end of 2015, Kuantic
contributed to Vedecom and all its partners its expertise and know-how in the supervision of connected vehicles: Onboard devices, development of platforms to supervise connected vehicles, Data communication networks, etc.
Kuantic is represented within Institut Vedecom by Thierry Pereault, Head of Finance, Partnerships and Innovation, who notably participated in a project to research, analyse and create a data base on conduct in order to improve security.
